For Jillian’s writing portfolio, I chose a conch shell. The most obvious reason that comes to mind is that conch shells are found on beaches, and associated with the ocean. But conch shell are hypnotic and deep in that you can listen to the ocean when you put the conch shell up to your ear, and I feel like Jillian’s writing has those same traits.
